Petsitting in the area and ate here twice - lunch and breakfast. Tasty food, big portions, reasonable prices, friendly service.Lunch was chicken fried steak with the white sausage gravy, potato salad, and really good fried okra. Breakfast was a western omelet and a biscuit.

We get bacon egg and cheese on toast every Friday here (or if we just feel like treating ourselves haha) and I always get the egg over easy( love a runny yoke) and they never disappoint! It may be a little messy, but man, are they delicious! They pack them full of bacon too! Definitely worth getting :) the staff is very friendly and courteous.

I enjoyed the fire roasted pepper turkey wrap. It was amazing. Fresh and moist! Large por5 as well. My husband had the dbl cheese burger and it was so large he was not able to get his mouth around it.My only complaint is that they are so far away.

Found this place just searching for a local place. So glad we did. It felt like a hometown place. Everyone there from the staff to the people eating were friendly. Our food was great from the burger n onion rings to the country fried steak. The hush puppies and fried okra were amazing and those potatoes I could eat all day.

My father couldn't stop praising the fried apples! "Buttery, not too sweet, not too salty."Went here with my family, and everyone was very kind and happy to help us. While some of what we ordered was a bit too bland or wet, we greatly enjoyed the fried flounder, rolls, grilled chicken, popcorn shrimp, and of course the fried apples. Many delicious desserts to choose from, too!We had an awesome time and would definitely recommend you stop by if you're in town!

Two words to describe the food here... Home Cooking. Potatoes smoothered in gravy. Tender pork chops. Pies and cakes that are home made. The place was clean and seemed very busy for a weekday. Our waitress was great, and the food was great.

Today I had biscuit and gravy with bacon. It was really good. The bacon was crispy, the biscuit was large and there was generous amount of sausage gravy over the biscuit. Service was great. I got unsweetened iced tea and she refilled my glass and even brought me a full Togo cup.

My husband and I do not like to eat out because we like our own cooking and prices better. However, Crooked Oak is a special local restaurant. It's a trip back in time.Their food is well prepared and tasty. It's the only place that can cook great pancakes. Their desserts are amazing. Everything we have eaten there is perfection.Homey atmosphere and in this time of high inflation we can both eat and leave a great tip for 20.00!
